Our story
Founded by Mr. Ajay Jain in 2008, aaBco has become one of the most trusted manufacturers of candles, aroma oils, aromatic lamps, aroma gift sets, and polyresin statues in India. The idea of setting up this company was conceived from a simple question that arose in Ajay’s mind while shopping for aromatic candles during a vacation to Nainital. Suddenly, he started thinking about why it’s so tough to buy such high-quality, aromatic, and sustainable candles in Jaipur, Delhi, and other parts of the country.
For aaBco’s founder, candles were one of the best ways to unwind from his hectic schedule. However, he realized that it was too expensive to buy decorative candles that smelled great and were good for the planet. The quest made Ajay take perfumery classes and learn the art of candle making. After much hard work, research, and continued sessions of trial and error, he designed some unique yet inexpensive candles. After discussing the prospect of starting a business with his wife, Mrs. Soma Singh, Ajay started his own candle manufacturing company in 2008.
During the starting phase of business, the candles were manufactured in his home kitchen and sold to the local stores and retailers. There were numerous problems that the company faced during this time- including a lack of proper equipment and an improper supply of raw materials. However, the obstacles have been easier to overcome due to the constant support of his wife who later left her teaching job and joined the company as a partner in 2015. By this time, the company had successfully made a few loyal customers. But it was still clueless about scaling up. Then, the duo tried making more unique products with nature-inspired scents and within a year, the candles’ quality and unique designs attracted many retailers.
During this time, Soma also learned many related fields, such as aromatherapy, pranic healing, and Vastu Shastra. She infused her knowledge of these areas into developing better and more innovative products. All these efforts worked and the company started getting many mass production orders. To meet this increased demand, aaBco set up a proper manufacturing unit of 400 sq. ft.
Over the next few years, the company ventured into a few more areas like manufacturing polyresin statues, aroma oils, and aroma lamps. Under the leadership of Mrs. Soma Singh, the company not only leveraged its expertise in aromatic candle manufacturing but also produced a thoughtfully designed collection of polyresin statues and home decor items. Most of these products are made with high-quality and sustainable materials, which are more in demand than Chinese alternatives. What makes these products further better is their classic and fashionable aesthetic and high-end finish.

From a home-based manufacturing unit, aaBco has come a long way; and today it has four manufacturing units in Jaipur. Today, the brand has hundreds of products across various segments, targeting diverse customers. Its constant endeavor is to bring more innovative crafts and home decor items to meet the demand of modern interior designers and homeowners.
